My editing career began at Toronto Metropolitan University's Films Studies Program, with a sudden realization: I loved visual storytelling, but hated standing around on set for 14 hours a day. That process of elimination turned out to be the best career move I ever made.
After graduating, I headed back to Vancouver for that ocean fresh air, which launched my career into the world of television. I spent several years cutting factual series for some of Canada’s top production companies, including three seasons of Yukon Gold for History TV and National Geographic.
Eventually, my heart pulled me back to scripted storytelling. So I hoofed it back to "Torrona” (That’s Canadian for “Toronto") for a fellowship at the prestigious Canadian Film Centre's Editor’s Lab, where I spent six months collaborating with the country's best up and coming directors, producers, writers and composers.
Since then, I’ve carved out a niche where my general goofiness and love of all things weird, helped me specialize in the razor-thin timing required for comedy, thrillers, and horror.
My credits include the final season of the beloved Kim’s Convenience, the supernatural teen series Astrid and Lilly Save the World, and two seasons of the SYFY/Bell Media series SurrealEstate. Most recently, I brought my genre sensibilities to Silver Screamers which premiered at Fantastic Fest in Austin, Texas. I’m currently in the edit suite for Gloria Kim’s upcoming feature, The Banquet (due for release in 2026).
Whether I'm crafting a punchline or a jump scare, I truly believe that entertainment and compassion are only one cut away from each other.
